Bruno Atkinson is a film director who works at the intersection of comedy and ecology, adopting a highly educational approach to issues that dominate today’s social agenda. In this work, commissioned by Ecologistas en Acción in Lanzarote, the director takes us into a very special ecosystem, where an apparently barren landscape hides a network of species and traditions that urgently call for protection and conservation.

Synopsis: A grain of sand travels across the island of Lanzarote, uncovering the world of tourism and its dark side: the illegal extraction of sand.
