El Día E: the Fiesta of all Spanish language speakers

The Instituto Cervantes centres worldwide open their doors this month with a cultural programme full of activities for everyone. Over 500 million people speak Spanish. Spanish ranks second language with the majority of speakers in the world, is the second language for worldwide communication, the most used language in social networks Facebook and Twitter and the third most used language on the Internet. 

On the 22th of June, Instituto Cervantes centres will open their doors to join the Fiesta. The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester has organized an open day packed with activities for all ages to celebrate this special day. Moreover, there will be a 10% discount on enrolments for new students, and if you take part in our contest you will have the chance to win A FREE COURSE! 

• Free level tests (12:00 - 2:00 p.m). Library.

• Spanish for children from 3 to 5 years old (12:00 - 12:45 pm.). Classroom 4.

• Spanish for children from 6 to 8 years old (12:45 -1:30 pm.). Classroom 4.

• Tango Taster and show (1:00 -1:30 p.m.). Main hall.

• Spanish taster (Elementary level) (1:00 - 1:30 p.m.).Classroom 13. 

• Flamenco Taster and show (1:30 - 2:00 p.m.). Main hall.

• Spanish taster (Intermediate level) (1:30 - 2:00 p.m.). Classroom 13. 

• Paella from La Bandera Restaurant + Sangria (2:00 - 3:00 p.m.).Main hall.

• The group AriA will also be performing (2:30 - 3:15 p.m). Main hall.
