Hispanic Day Colibrí Folk Dance UK

Instituto Cervantes in Manchester celebrates the Fiesta Nacional de España (Spanish National Day) by organising activities for the whole family and offering and Spanish delicious paella cooked by the best Spanish restaurant of the city: La Bandera. 


PROGRAMME:

· 11.30 - 14.00 Free Spanish assessment tests

· 11.30 - 12.00 Spanish class taster

· 12.00 - 13.30 Spanish activities for children (3-8 years old) 

· 12.00 - 12.30 Institutional event presented by the Director of the Instituto Cervantes, Dr.  Francisco Oda-Ángel 

· 12.30 - 13.00 Workshop (in English): The History of Spain through its languages.

· 13.00 - 13.30 Talk (in English): 40 years of the Spanish Constitution

· 13.30 - 13.40 Public Reading of the Spanish Constitution

· 13.40 - 14.00 Performance: Folkloric Dance from Jalisco: The Hispanity in Manchester, by Colibrí Mexican Folkdance group. 

· 14.00 - 14.30 Paella (by La Bandera restaurant), sangría and snacks.
