Storytelling: Pequeño Salvador
The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester continues its programme to promote children’s reading. In this session, our storytelling will be dedicated to Salvador Dalí, one of the most internationally renowned Catalan painters. Through this activity, we will introduce children to Dalí’s life and work, and to his creative universe, full of strange and unique fantasy. El pequeño Dalí tells the tale of little Salvi, a boy from Figueres who, while playing on the beach, finds a small, shiny key. In search of what the key might open, Salvi embarks on a journey full of adventures and fantastic characters born from the painter’s creative imagination. In collaboration with Manchester City of Literature and Read Manchester – National Literacy Trust.
