<p>Hailing from Alghero, singer Franca Masu is the main representative of the Catalan cultural heritage of Sardinia. Her rich and evocative style showcases a blend of both traditional and contemporary elements, making her one of the most peculiar voices of the Mediterranean.</p>

<p>At the forefront of the cultural revival in Alghero, she draws her musical inspiration from the rhythm of jazz, enriched by the Mediterranean musical traditions. By choosing to sing not only in the Catalan Algherese dialect, but also in Italian, Sardinian and Portuguese, she has created a fusion of suggestive styles, becoming an original, innovative and sophisticated artist that combines memory, poetry and emotion.</p>

<p>Franca Masu will perform a selection of songs from her latest album <i>Cordemar</i> (2021) with two leading names in the European jazz panorama, Luca Falomi on the guitar and Fausto Beccalossi on the accordion. With their refined sound, open to influences and yet close to tradition, they follow and embellish every single note in a perfect symbiosis with Franca Masu, defined by critics as “the voice that embraces the seas”.</p>
