Climate Change

The seminar on climate change addresses two aspects of special relevance. Firstly, presentation on the latest advances in scientific knowledge regarding global warming and climate change and, secondly, the debate on proposals that establish the steps that citizens, individually, collectively and institutionally, can carry out to reduce our so-called "ecological footprint".

The city of Manchester, as the first industrial metropolis in the world, has been an example of the collective conscience on the effects of pollution derived from its most industrial age and for that reason, it is discovered as a city with a special sensitivity to analyze and discuss sustainability proposals against climate change.
