We continue the "Emerging Voices" series with an intimate and thought-provoking conversation between writers Álex Espinoza and Lilliam Rivera, this time, in person. Together, they will reflect on family heritage and memory from a literary perspective, exploring how identity is shaped during childhood and adolescence—and how external circumstances can transform it.
The conversation will also explore our relationship with place and its influence on who we are. How are our identities shaped across time and space? In what ways do these authors capture the passage of time through words
