Patinir, la invención del paisaje
Joachim Patinir, who worked in Antwerp between 1515 and 1524, was the first European artist to specialise in painting landscapes. His surprising works reflect a curiosity for the natural world, very characteristic of the Renaissance, while evoking the idea of a transcendent universe. This documentary addresses the enigma of a painter about whom little is known, yet who revolutionised the art market and the very concept of painting in the early 16th century.Miguel Ángel Trujillo was awarded a degree in Cinematography in 1972 by Madrid's Official School of Cinematography (EOC). Since then, he has produced, shot and directed films, documentaries and commercials.
