A tribute to Armenian Music Legacy
The
Armenian-American Museum and Cultural Center of California, in collaboration
with the Cervantes Institute of Los Angeles, presents award-winning pianist and
mathematician Dr. Laura Farré Rozada in concert on Wednesday, March 25, 2026,
at the Glendale Presbyterian Church. The concert is free and open to the public
by prior registration. In her latest album, Araspel (2025), winner of multiple
international awards in the United States, the United Kingdom, Armenia, and
Europe, the pianist pays tribute to the Armenian musical heritage. Throughout
her artistic career, Isabel Farré has performed on five continents in renowned
venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Southbank Centre in London, and
the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in Yerevan, and her performances have been
broadcast on BBC Radio 3, France Musique, and other international public radio networks. Recognized by BBC Music Magazine as a “rising star,” Isabel Farré is
internationally acclaimed for her performances, which combine scientific
curiosity with emotional depth. The press describes her as one of the most
original and thoughtful artists of her generation, an artist who moves with
equal ease between equations and sonatas, between research and musicality.
Among the awards he has received for his piano career are the American
Classical Young Musician Award in Washington, D.C., and the “New Talent” Award
from the BIME Equity Awards. He is also a regular lecturer and
artist-in-residence at Spain's leading cultural institutions.
