La caza (The Hunt)
Videomercury/EgedaCarlos Saura begins, with this story of a hunt that brings together three old friends, a metaphorical cinema that he will develop alongside the Spanish producer Elías Querejeta in the sixties of the 20th century. Despite the great problems with the censorship prevailing in Spain at the time, the film —winner of the Silver Bear for best director at the Berlin competition— managed to make clear the view towards the winners and losers of the Spanish civil war in an interesting decomposition of the Francoist patriarchy that, even today, surprises with the impact of its images.
