Juan Mariné. A century of filmmaking

We continue the Versión en español series with a documentary on Juan Mariné, a fundamental figure in the history of Spanish cinema. The feature film narrates the life and career of cinematographer and film restorer Juan Mariné. A vindication of the figure of Juan Mariné Bruguera, a centenarian since December 31, 2020, the film traces his long professional career as a director of photography, specialist in trucage and special effects, lecturer, curator and restorer. And it does so from his beginnings in 1935 to his last stage at the Filmoteca Española and the ECAM. At the end of the activity, the audience present in the hall will be able to chat online, under the moderation of filmmaker and author Andrés Moret, with the director of the film, María Luisa Pujol and its producer, Jorge Bonet.
