In Edit: music for your eyes. Lives on film

The Cervantes Institute in collaboration with In-Edit, presents this cycle of music documentaries with some of the most exciting and not so well known biographies of musicians in our country. In-Edit has been the most important festival in the world dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of music documentaries for more than 20 years. In this cycle we celebrate the musical talent of different Spanish artists whose influence has reached far beyond our borders. La Singla unveils the mystery surrounding the deaf flamenco dancer who fascinated Europe in the 1960s; Sexo, maracas y chihuahuas reviews the Hollywood movie life of musician and composer Xavier Cugat; Fernanda y Bernarda pays tribute to the Utrera sisters, fundamental voices of flamenco; and Revelando a Mario introduces us to music producer Mario Pacheco, a key figure in the new flamenco. We invite you to an audiovisual journey through sounds that broke barriers.
