Eduardo Chillida. Convergence

Eduardo Chillida: Convergence will be on view at The San Diego Museum of Art from August 2, 2025, to February 8, 2026, as part of the global centenary celebration of the artist. It is the most comprehensive Chillida exhibition in the US in nearly 50 years. Spanning his entire career, it features iconic sculptures, works on paper, and a virtual reality experience of Comb of the Wind XV (1977). Deeply influenced by his Basque homeland, Chillida explored the intersections of nature, culture, form, and void. An accompanying catalogue includes insights from a multidisciplinary group of contributors. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Chillida Leku and the artist’s estate.
