Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) and the Cervantes Institute present a literary event
featuring one of the leading voices in Central America and contemporary
Spanish-language literature, Salvadoran author Horacio Castellanos Moya. In
conversation with one of the undisputed figures of Spanish-language journalism
in Los Angeles, Soudi Jiménez, the author will share with the audience key insights
into his latest work, Cornamenta, published in Spanish in the United States in
October this year and due to appear in English in 2026, as well as personal
reflections on his career as an author, his dreams, his disappointments and his
