V London Festival of Queer Spanish Culture

V London Festival of Queer Spanish Culture John P Sage

The 5th Queer Culture Festival in Spanish in London, organized by Romancero Books CIC, takes place in London as a space for gathering, reflection, and celebration of queer literature and arts in the Spanish language.

This fifth edition continues to establish the festival as a key platform for amplifying diverse voices, fostering intergenerational dialogue, and promoting Hispanic LGTBIQ+ culture in the United Kingdom.

The festival brings together writers, poets, scholars, artists, and activists from Spain and Latin America, offering a varied program that includes book presentations, theatrical performances, music concerts, poetry readings, audiovisual screenings, podcasts, and live performances. Among the featured participants are figures such as Daniel Saldaña París, Sabina Urraca, Ángelo Néstore, Sara Torres, and Las Hijas de Felipe, as well as researchers and audiovisual creators who explore topics such as epistemic injustice, sexuality in literature, and queer memory.
