Instituto Cervantes London is hosting a presentation of the book The Paris Muse by Louisa Treger. Louisa is the acclaimed author of four novels, The Lodger (2014), The Dragon Lady (2019), Madwoman (2022), which was awarded historical fiction Book of the Year by The Times and The Sunday Times and Book of the Month by The Independent, and The Paris Muse (2024).


Louisa has written for The TimesThe TelegraphTatlerBBC History Magazine and English Heritage. She has a First Class degree and a PhD in English Literature from University College London (UCL).


The Paris Muse is a wonderfully atmospheric, intense and astonishing novel about Dora Maar, the artist, creative genius and muse who inspired some of Pablo Picasso’s greatest works, and the love affair that destroyed her. This is a story you won’t want to miss!
