Instituto Cervantes London is collaborating in the promotion of Tango After Dark, the show created by World Tango Champion Germán Cornejo, which returns to the Peacock Theatre to immerse audiences in the nocturnal, seductive energy of Buenos Aires.
The production brings together an extraordinary cast of Argentine dancers whose technique, precision, and sensuality redefine the boundaries of contemporary tango, offering an intimate, visceral, and electrifying experience. Accompanied by a live orchestra and singers performing the music of the legendary Astor Piazzolla, the show unfolds as a powerful fusion of dance and sound. Every step and every embrace tell stories of desire, tension, and surrender, as ten of the world’s finest dancers fill the stage with strength, elegance, and emotion.
After the performance, Germán Cornejo will take part in a conversation about his life and work with Jorge Gárriz, Cultural Coordinator at the Instituto Cervantes in London.
