In Converation: Paco Bezerra

The first act of this series is a conversation between Paco Bezerra and Paula Paz, co-founder of Cervantes Theatre. Paco Bezerra, born 1978, is one of Spain’s most exciting young voices with his plays being played around the globe. Awards received for his playwriting include National Dramatic Price for ‘Dentro de La Tierra’ in 2009, The Calderon de la Barca National Theatre Price in 2007, the Eurodram Award 2014. His plays and writings have been translated into several languages and are being produced all over the globe. Paco trained as an actor at William Layton Theater Laboratory Madrid and read Theatre Science and Dramaturgy at the Royal School of Dramatic Art of Madrid (RESAD). He is a frequent invited lecturer at universities and festivals.
