Can't Say Goodbye

Carla hasn't seen nor spoken to her father for many years but, when she learns that he is very ill, she travels to the small town in the South of Spain where he lives and where she grew up and, against everyone's opinion, she takes him to Barcelona, where she is convinced he will be able to get better. Escalera's feature debut is an intense and emotional family drama benefiting from the performances by the three lead characters, which  are superb but Nathalie Poza's stands out and her work in this film has won her several awards in Spain.
