The impossibility of representing a reality that is not one's own, without falling into distance or detachment, leads the author to a flight backwards in which she reflects on the foundations of identity with the aim of finding the reasons that push her to look far away, as if it were a condemnation.Synopsis: Ningún río me protexe de min takes as its starting point the mysterious theft of a film shot in the Central African Republic, in the forest of the Congo Basin, as a response to the conflicts arising from the fragile and transubjective encounter with the not-self: an encounter that can only be practised or experienced, because if it is virtualised, it ceases to exist.
