IV Season of New Spanish Dramaturgy: 10 Dramatised Readings Series
The Cervantes Theatre in London Fall Season 2020 offers a unique opportunity to explore the most recent and significant in Spanish dramaturgy.
From September to December, a series of 10 online dramatised readings from the theatre itself brings us closer to the works of Paco Gámez, Juan Alberto Salvatierra, Marta Velasco, José Ramón Fernández, Marilia Samper, Laila Ripoll, Miguel del Arco, Alfredo Sanzol, Federico García Lorca and María de Zayas (Nando López's version), in their English translations. This program represents a unique effort in the theatre scene in Spanish, for what it represents in its dissemination and enhancement abroad.
After each of the dramatised readings, there will be a Q & A; A discussion with the author of the play.
