Festival of Queer Literature in Spanish in London

Festival of Queer Literature in Spanish in London Jorge Garriz

Don't miss the fourth edition of the Queer Literature Festival in Spanish in London at the Instituto Cervantes!

This event, in collaboration with SRUK/CERU, brings together leading Spanish and British researchers to explore Queer literature. The festival is the perfect place for readers, writers and lovers of LGTBIQ+ culture. This year, we will have the presence of figures such as Anna Moya (London School of Economics), Álvaro González Montero (University of Leeds), Lucía Gloria Vázquez Rodríguez (University College London) and Javier Fernández Galeano (University of Valencia), who will address fascinating topics such as epistemic injustice, sexual dissidence during Franco's regime and Queer representation in Latin American cinema.

The event will be opened by the director of the Cervantes Institute, Mr Victor Ugarte Farrerons, with an introduction by Mr Jorge Gárriz, festival director and founder of Romancero Books, and Mr Iago Mora Arcas, Head of Equality, Diversity and Wellbeing at SRUK/CERU. Don't miss it!

At the end of the talks, you will be able to purchase copies of the books and meet the researchers. Visit the festival website for more details about the events - we look forward to seeing you!
