Early Music Christmas Concert "Navidad Nuestra"

Join us on 13 December for what promises to be a Christmas concert like no other. Ancient chants and toe-tapping rhythms collide in this journey through a millennium of sacred early Latin and Hispanic Christmas music.

Alongside a stellar lineup of leading Hispanic soloists, groundbreaking medieval specialist group Idrîsî Ensemble will join forces with the Monteverde Consort to celebrate vibrant festive songs from Spain and Latin America, combining American Indian and African styles with the entrancing, mystical sounds of the Roman world.

Inspired by The Temple Church, our historic venue dating back to 1163, the performers will also revive music from the site’s earliest days, including a 12th-century chant associated with the Knights Templar, who made the church their spiritual home.
