Mirta y el viejo señor

In April we continue with our virtual reading club program E-LEemos, an online graded reading club, aimed at students and teachers of Spanish, whose purpose is to offer graded readings to advance communicative and intercultural competence.  This reading club serves to acquire and improve language skills, such as oral expression, written expression, listening comprehension, and reading comprehension.  In "Mirta y el viejo señor", by Dolores Soler-Espiauba, Mirta travels to Madrid to study and lives with an old man whom she takes care of. Little by little, she gradually widens her circle of friends.
