Spanish Divas: Divas and the Spanish Star System

Cervantes Institute in London, together with Joana Granero, director of the London Spanish Film Festival, presents the online course Spanish Divas: The Spanish Star System. The course consists of six sessions, taught by Joana Granero, María Adell Carmona, Peter Evans, and Santiago Fouz Hernández, in which they will discuss the charisma, glamour, and cultural power of actresses in the Spanish star system, from Imperio Argentina to Penélope Cruz, analysing their influence in shaping identities and embodying female aspirations across generations.
