Instituto Cervantes Londres and Untold Collectiv present a micro-theatre session that amplifies the voices of new Latinx playwriting in London. Short, intense, and sharp pieces that condense identities, struggles, and desires into scenes charged with creative high voltage.
This showcase brings together works written by Latinx authors living in the city, celebrating their plurality and their unique perspective on the migrant experience. It is an urgent, vibrant, and necessary space where words embody resistance, imagination, and future.
The micro-theatre session will take place across five different spaces inside the Instituto Cervantes: from the library to the auditorium, including two classrooms and the entrance hall.
Untold Collectiv
Untold Collectiv is a creative collective founded in London by artists from underrepresented backgrounds with the aim of opening a space to share their stories, collaborate, and make visible the cultural diversity that shapes the city’s artistic scene. Their work focuses on offering writers, performers, and other professionals a safe environment to develop ideas, read and test texts, and work collectively on projects that foster new narratives.
The collective organises bimonthly meet-ups, workshops, and scratch nights —including its successful Latinx Scratch Night— as platforms for diverse voices to bring their work to the stage and connect with new audiences. Their mission is clear: to broaden access, empower talent, and claim space for stories that rarely find room within traditional theatre and performing arts circuits.
