Chamber concert with Germán Enrique Alcántara and Anna Tilbrook
Instituto Cervantes in London is collaborating in the promotion of the new season of Opera Rara, which opens its 55th season with a salon concert on Friday 10 October 2025. Argentine baritone Germán Enrique Alcántara and pianist Anna Tilbrook, in collaboration with the Temple Music Foundation, will perform little-known songs by Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848), along with works by Argentine composers Juan Pedro Esnaola (1808-1878), Francisco de Paula Aguirre (1875-1939), Carlos López Buchardo (1881-1948), Celia Torrá (1889-1962), Alberto Williams (1862-1952) and Ana Carrique (1886-1978).
Many of the unique Argentine songs chosen for this evening will be premiered in the United Kingdom at this concert.
