The Madariaga series: Spain, 1978-2020: A democratic memoir. Juan Luis Cebrián

The Madariaga Series is an academic initiative that seeks to promote the long-standing connection between Spain and the University of Oxford. The Series is named after Salvador de Madariaga (1886-1978), a Spanish diplomat, writer and historian, that taught at Oxford between 1928 and 1931. Inspired by the internationalist and multidisciplinary character of Madariaga, this initiative seeks to foster debates on current affairs and discussing the role played by Spain and Latin America in the development of global politics, sciences and culture. The Series is made possible by the generous support of Magdalen College, one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges of Oxford.
