Instituto Cervantes, in collaboration with the UNAM London Centre, presents the second selection of short films made by students from Mexico’s National School of Cinematic Arts. This showcase is celebrating its 28th edition, and in the heart of London we will present a selection of eight fiction and documentary short films. After the screening, some of the directors will take part in an online discussion. (Names to be confirmed). Synopsis: Ofelia drifts through her days drinking, stealing, and spending time with her only friend, Dafne. During a visit to Dafne’s workplace, she becomes fascinated by a newly arrived fish. Acting on impulse, she takes it with her, triggering a search shaped by absence, memory, and unresolved loss.
