Zonacine Documentary

Since its beginnings the Malaga Spanish Cinema Festival has paid great attention to linking innovative documentary production to circles of support and promotion in Spanish Cinema. Zonazine, the name of one of these sections and of the program which will present the festival at the Instituto Cervantes, puts forwards 5 contemporary documentaries looking at the world we live in through unique style and approach.

The stories that unfold all return to the documentary paradox of bringing closer that which is distant, to show that in fact it is all related. The uniqueness of this programme is also based on the variety of aesthetic approaches used by each director to define their stories and get close to the lives of their subjects.
