New approaches and challenges in studies of Spanish art
Over the last decades, studies of nineteenth-century Spanish art have experienced significant developments. As a nearly centenary institution, the history of the National Museum of Romanticism (Madrid, Spain) reveals the development of the historiography of art and also reflects the everyday life in that period. This lecture is part of the Instituto Cervantes Museum Director Lecture. Dr Carolina Miguel Arroyo is the Director of the National Museum of Romanticism in Madrid.
