La negrada (Black Mexicans)

La Negrada is the first feature film shot (with non -professional actors) to give a voice and raise awareness of the communities of African origin in Mexico, who despite making up around 1% of its population, have not yet been recognized as people, an ethnic group, or culturally, which keeps them socially marginalized and discriminated against.
