Spanish Wines Tasting. White wines: D.O. Rías Baixas, València and Rioja
Join us at La Bodega on Friday 4th March for a trip around Spain by the hand of La Bodega by IBÉRICA Leeds, to understand the great climatic variety of the country and its influence on wine production. Pairing with select products from the La Bodega deli shop.
The sommelier Facundo Froschauer will guide the participants through three of the most important winery regions for white wines in Spain, each one of them corresponding to a different climatic condition, which forms the characteristic features of each wine.
The wines offered will be:
- Diluvio: Albariño, D.O. Rías Baixas (Galicia). Atlantic Climate
- Calabuig: Macabeo, D.O. València (Comunidad Valenciana). Mediterranean Climate
- Arnegui: Viura, D.O. Rioja (La Rioja). Continental Climate
- A trio of chorizo
- A small Spanish cheese selection
- A jamón Domecq taster
