Spanish Wines Tastings at La Bodega by IBÉRICA Leeds
In the spring of 2022, the Instituto Cervantes in Leeds will offer three Spanish wine tastings along with La Bodega by IBÉRICA Restaurant in Leeds.
IBÉRICA's sommelier Facundo Froschauer will guide the participants through a tour that will show the variety of regions and climates in Spain and their influence on wine production. Each session will last 90 minutes and will be dedicated to a different type of wine. In addition, the tastings will be paired with typically Spanish gastronomic products available in the IBÉRICA deli store.
Programme
- Session 1 (4th March, 7 pm): White Wines. Albariño (D.O. Rías Baixas), Macabeo (D.O. Valencia) and Viura (D.O. La Rioja).
- Session 2 (24th March, 7 pm): Red Wines. D.O. Galicia, Alicante and La Mancha.
- Session 3 (7th April, 7 pm): Sherry Wines. Sherry fino, amontillado, oloroso and dulce.
