Spanish Wines Tasting. Red wines: D.O. Ribeira Sacra, Alicante and Rioja
Join us on Thursday 24th March for a trip around Spain by the hand of La Bodega by IBÉRICA Leeds, to understand the great climatic variety of the country and its influence on wine production. Wines will be paired with select products from the La Bodega deli shop.
The sommelier Facundo Froschauer will guide the participants through three of the most important winery regions for red wines in Spain, each one of them corresponding to a different climate condition, which forms the characteristic features of each wine.
The wines that participants will enjoy will be:
- Lalama: Mencía, Mouratón, Sousón. D.O. Ribeira Sacra (Galicia). Atlantic Climate.
- Al-Muvedre: Monastrell. D.O. Alicante (Comunidad Valenciana). Mediterranean Climate.
- Pasos de la Capula. Tempranillo. D.O. La Mancha (Castilla-La Mancha). Continental Climate.
- A trio of chorizo
- A small Spanish cheese selection
- A jamón Domecq taster
