The Gold Seekers

Los Buscadores” (The Gold Seekers) follows Manu, a newspaper delivery boy who lives in the slums of Asunción and works in the outskirts of the city. One day he receives a book that talks about the history of Paraguay. Later, he discovers that it is hiding a map that may or may not reveal the exact location of a treasure hidden at the time of the “Triple Alliance War” (1864-1870). Along with his friend Fito and Don Elio, a gentleman who knows about adventures to find “Plata Yvyguy” (a hidden treasure), they decide to follow the clues and look for the mentioned treasure, which would put an end to the economic problems that everybody is going through, living very close to the flooding of the Paraguay River.
