"ELLAS: La Palabra Y La Danza"

is a collaboration between MAAT|CCDC, Libertad, and the Cervantes Institute in Cairo. "ELLAS: La Palabra Y La Danza" will be a place to reflect, discuss, exchange points of view, experiences, and give voice to our bodies where Libertad is going to lead a series of meetings at MAAT|CCDC studio with a group of literature and dance enthusiasm women, (3 Spanish language students from Cervantes Institute, 1 graduate of MAAT|Contemporary Dance School & 4 current students at MAAT|CCDC 3-Month Short Dance Module, level 2), to bring words and movements togethers through reading, writing and dancing their experiences, and curiosities as citizens of this world. The departure point of this residency is women writers, and different artists who have made us revive and awaken our bodies. How do those words resonate with our bodies? How do we interpret those readings with movement vocabulary?
