Vacaciones en familia

The Kelly family has great expectations and social ambition, way out of their possibilities. Juan Kelly, the father, European descendant; and Sofía Arteaga, the mother, belongs to a now faded aristocratic family, which does not stop her from being very proud of her origins. Juan is not the brightest of the bunch and his lack of character gives him no decision power when it comes to his family, but he loves them above all. Sofía, having witnessed her husband’s failures over and over, fears her social climbing ambitions will be crashed before they start. A black comedy about the importance of appearances and fake holidays in Brazil.
