The creative couple formed by director Javier Marco and screenwriter Belén Sánchez-Arévalo has already an impressive career that culminated in the Goya for Best Short Film for their A la cara in 2020, and with their feature film debut Josefina, in 2021. Their ability to thread the most personal stories with a look at the most disadvantaged in society is also in Uno, a short film inscribed in the terrible and deadly story of the Strait of Gibraltar.
