Theatre Club. Second Session

The club will continue to work in spring. This season director of the group, Villegas, will work emphasising the different languages within drama, and through the performing of scenes will bring them in a journey of theatre naturalism and magic realism, while exploring the works of authors such as Enrik Ibsen, Samuel Becket and Álvaro Menen Desleal, among others.

The group will be directed by Sandra Villegas who was awarded an MA in Directing for Theatre from University College Dublin (UCD). She has a Diploma in Arts: Theatre & Drama, from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUI) and a Bachelor in Performing Arts (Cum Laude) from The City College of New York (CCNY). Sandra is currently teaching a course in ‘World Drama’ at DBS Arts School in Dublin. She founded ‘The Latin Sphere Theatre’ company in Dublin and offers various theatre workshops for both adults and children.
