Flamenco Dance Workshop: Guajira with fan
During this workshop, students will learn to dance the guajira, a flamenco style known as ida y vuelta, which means it originated from the cultural exchange between Spain and America. This exchange of cultures resulted in a unique fusion. Traditionally, it is danced with a pericón fan, which is larger than most other fans.
The classes, offered by the experienced dancer Sandra Palomar, include footwork, body expression and arm technique, and introduction to the historical and cultural context. Connect with your body through dance in a relaxed and playful environment and discover the benefits of bodywork as a healthy practice.
