Su Garrido Pombo in Concert

In her second concert at Instituto Cervantes Dublin, the musician and composer Su Garrido Pombo from Vigo (Galicia) will navigate through styles such as Jazz, Latin, Bossa or Folk.

In this ocassion Su (vocals, guitar and pedal) has prepared a setlist of her own works, traditional songs and covers, in which the fusion of styles will show as usual. 

Su Garrido Pombo studied Guitar, History and Musicology as well as Art History at the Universities of Salamanca, Granada and Florence. Her music has brought her to tour across Europe and America, first with the folk group Lembranzas Galegas and later as the lead singer of Sonhos with whom she recorded the album Sonhos. Her works have gained her international awards in the MAPFRE Viveparacumplirlo and the GZrea national music competition. In 2013 she moves to Dublin and starts her solo career touring around Ireland. In 2015, she was awarded as best Galician group as a member of Treme. She currently continues to develop her solo career touring around Galicia and Ireland while collaborates in a variety of different music projects.
