Storylines Europe

Storylines Europe © Vincent Lavergne. EUNIC Ireland

Storylines Europe launches in 2025 as a new annual celebration of European writing and thought, presented by EUNIC Ireland in cooperation with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland and supported by the participating embassies and cultural institutes. Taking place on Saturday, 22 November at Europe House, Dublin, this one-day festival brings together authors and translators from nine European countries for a dynamic series of conversations exploring identity, language, memory, and creativity across borders.

From the personal to the political, the intimate to the universal, Storylines Europe invites audiences to experience how stories travel and connect us — revealing the diverse voices and shared ideas at the heart of Europe today. The Spanish writer Anna Pazos will talk to Nolwenn Le Blevennec (France) in the conversation Intimate Geographies. Friendship, relationships, motherhood, and belonging, chaired by Sinéad Mac Aodha (Literature Ireland).

This is just the beginning — we look forward to developing Storylines Europe in the years to come, building a vibrant platform for European literature in Dublin.
