When I was little, my grandfather told me that Pepe had died. Later, I discovered that he had emigrated to Argentina after the Civil War in search of better fortune. My grandmother Mary never knew anything else about him. She had to leave Spain alone to raise their three children.

That was the beginning of the family diaspora that keeps us scattered around the world. Pepe el Andaluz is a journey against time and forgetfulness. A story that only raises questions and hides unexpected discoveries: pieces of the fragmented picture of my grandfather, from whom I have only an incomplete map.
