Our trip to the Mediterraneo stops at Portugal with the presentation of this film screening, organised by the Embassy of Portugal in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Ireland, and the support of the Instituto Cervantes Dublin.

Synopsis: This is a timeless story of love and death. Francisco Sá-Carneiro met Snu Abecassis on 6th January, 1976. He was a promising politician, devoutly Catholic, married and the father of five children. She was Danish, married and the mother of three children, she was also a political activist and the founder of the publishing house D. Quixote (…). Sá-Carneiro and Snu fell deeply in love and decided to embrace this love to the fullest extent, resisting the criticism of the time and the multiple obstacles they faced - personal, political and social ones. This screening is part of the events taking place at the Instituto Cervantes Dublin on the occasion of the Spanish EU Council Presidency.
