Llamada a la escuela (Call to School)

Carme Nogueira is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and teacher, with extensive experience both in the field of creation and academia, who, for Llamada a la escuela, recovers school files and testimonies of children who attended the public school in Las Hurdes at the beginning of the 1930s and she interrelates them with a passage from Luis Buñuel's documentary Las Hurdes: Land Without Bread (1933), as well as with drawings of the children of a school nowadays, generating with all this an audiovisual proposal of great strength and sensitivity.
