Luis (Jorge Perugorría) suffers dystonia since childhood which does not allow him communicate with the world around him. He spends his time in between a day care centre and his family home looked after by his mother Elena (Isabel Santos). Elena does not despair even though she does not obtain any response from Luis and his inner life seems to be guarded by an impenetrable wall. La pared de las palabras (The Wall of Words) offers food for thought about human interaction and communication, pain and the limits of sacrifice.
