Gente de bien

At age 10, after being abandoned by his mother, Eric is forced to live with his father who he barely knows. His dad, Ariel, finds serious difficulties to keep afloat the two of them and to bond with his son. Moved by the circumstances, María Isabel, a wealthy lady who employs Ariel as a carpenter, decides to help them out. She invites them to spend Christmas at her house in the countryside, where she takes on a protective role with Eric. Unfortunately she does not consider the consequences of her protective attitude towards the boy.
