Flamenco. Second Session
In this second term we will approach the mother of all singing palos: the Soleá, and in particular the Soleá from Triana. Movements charged with femininity, through the arms, hips and the serious expression of the dancer, the challenge for participants will be transmitting the nerve characteristic in this style, at the same time they seem contained and have control over their own movements. We will work with a new element: the mantón or shawl.
As usual, we will study the technique of tapping, the use of the skirt as a means while dancing, posture in flamenco, arm and hand movement and rhythm. The rich history behind the different styles will also be covered.
