The wild years

This is a documentary directed by Ventura Durall in 2014. It portrays poverty in the life of African villages in Ehiopia. The main character in this film is Daniel, a nine year old boy who arrives from his village in the city. He meets Habtom and Yohannes, two twelve year old boys who live in an abandoned car. The three of them survive stealing. Later on, when they start their return journey to their places of origin, they will develop a true friendship.

The film was nominated for the Best Documentary Award at the 2014 Malaga Film Festival.
